“Surely silver hath its breeding places, and gold, where it is refined. The iron is taken out of the dust and the stone melts the copper. Men put an end to the darkness, examine everything perfectly, even the stones that are in darkness and shadow of death. “
POEM OF THE CREATION, JOB BOOK, 28
If all that exists has been created by God, how are we going to offer him something valuable? Is not it all yours? Even our life belongs to him. How are we going to offer God something to please His eyes? Everything in us is poverty, it depends on Him that we live.
MAN HAS A PRECIOUS THING FOR GOD, SOMETHING THAT BELONGS TO HIM, BUT HE GAVE HIM AS A VERY VALUABLE GIFT, IS WILL. WE CREATED FREE TO LOVE IT OR TO LEAVE IT, SO THAT YOUR POWER WAS NOT A CHARGE FOR MAN, BUT A MEANS OF SALVATION. OUR WILL, OFFERED TO GOD, TAKES THE NAME OF “ABANDON” IN HIM, FULLY TRUST ALL IN HIM.
St. Francis de Sales says: “This virtue of abandonment is more excellent than the others, because it is the cream of charity, the aroma of humility, the merit of patience and the fruit of perseverance; Great is this virtue and only it worthy of being practiced by the dearest children of God. Said Our Savior: “My Father, into your hands I commend my Spirit; Do with Him as you please. ” We should do, my dear Sisters, on every occasion. Whether we suffer or rejoice, let us repeat: “My Father, in your hands I surrender my spirit, do with me what you will,” leaving us, in this way, to lead by the divine will, without ever taking into account our own will. Our Lord has an extremely tender love for those who are so happy to abandon themselves entirely to their paternal care and who let themselves be governed by their Divine Providence as they please, without entertaining to consider whether the effects of this Providence are useful to them , Profitable or harmful; With the assurance that nothing will be sent to us by that paternal and kind Heart, nor will it allow anything to happen to us, from which God can not obtain a good and a profit, provided that we have put all our trust in Him saying with all Soul: “I give my hands to my spirit.” And not only my spirit, but my soul, my body and all that I have, that you may do all that pleases you. Since He is our King, we must submit everything we have at His service. We owe our heart, body and spirit, so that He treats them as His own and we never use them except in His service. He desires that through this abandonment we witness to him our love and our fidelity, since by practicing it, he himself is, as he has shown, the excellence and ardor of his love for us.
(SERMON 17-4-1620, OVERSEAS IX, 283)
Only by abandoning ourselves to God will we find Wisdom because He knows the depths of our heart and will give us that which makes us a spiritual good, a place in the Promised Land, where nothing perishes and where we will be happier than living according to our tastes. Job says in verse 15, “It shall not be given for gold, nor shall its price be for silver.” No one can possess true wisdom except when God has taught it, by His Divine Pedagogy.

“THE RELIGIOUS SOUL, IT WILL BE THE LINEN IN WHICH I WILL PRINT ITSELF BY APPLICATION, MY DIFFERENT DIFFERENCES”. Jesus to St. Margaret Mary of Alacoque.
“The fire burns; So a soul full of God’s love burns without knowing it. “
The Guard of Honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Hour of Presence at the Heart of Jesus) is a Universal Public Association of Faithful, erected by the Apostolic See. Born March 13, 1863 in the monastery of the Visitation of St. Mary of Bourg in Bresse (France).
Its founder and promoter was Sister María del Sagrado Corazón Bernaud who, inspired by the lament of the Lord: “I sought who would comfort me and did not find it”, gathered a group of people who in turns of time gave themselves to the love and repair of the Heart of Jesus.
“Every religious soul is a sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus; Because the religious profession is a consecration; But this is not enough: it is necessary for love to renew this consecration every day, every moment, every second … “
“In a second there may be a thought of love that will last for eternity …”
“The Guard of Honor has its starting point on Calvary; His base in the wound of the Heart of Jesus; His models in the first “honor guards” who surrounded the solitary Cross when that Heart was opened by the spear, the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. John the Evangelist and St. Mary Magdalene.
People who can be part of the Honor Guard
Each and every person who wishes to enter, to know and to deepen in the love to arrive at a greater knowledge of the Mystery of the Redemption of Jesus Christ. Thus, to understand the infinite value of the Cross for our salvation and, in the fullness of our being, to love, honor and glorify Him, now and in eternity.
In this work they can start from the children, to the most in-depth ones in the religion. From those who can not believe but desire it, even the most convinced of the faith. For it is not a matter of devotion but of the Center itself of our union with God which is carried out through the intermediary of Jesus Christ. Who, in offering his life, won it for all those who will love him, honor and glorify him for all eternity. It is the mystery of the filiation of man with God that never ceases to be announced by His Word to the chosen souls, as was Saint Margaret Mary of Alacoque, so that all may be saved and live forever.
The love of God is not a gift that is won by merit, or by human efforts. The Gift is greater than the creature and what is less can not encompass what transcends it and can know before, during and after his life. Therefore, the sense of loving God is not reasoned, it is asked. It is not something that man knows and dominates, that is formed as “expert” in it, that can remain in a state of love with only its own forces. The community of religious sisters, of contemplative prayer, supports this work and raises our strength so that the prayer that each soul makes is heard in the communion of all the saints, as our Creed says. That is the mission that justifies a religious association, that of joining in prayer and interceding for all those who are or who ask for the grace necessary.
By loving God, we commit ourselves to love our brothers as ourselves, because the love of God is divine and we are on a path of self-improvement, where we learn to see what separates us from God as a challenge that we must overcome. Thus, forgiving and loving are the “right foot” and the “left foot” of our walking. Whoever has anything against his “brother”, that he turns and becomes. Who judges another as if he knew something, to convert again. Let him return to being “like a child” who knows himself needed and does not despise what he does not know. If God was a slave and a prisoner of the blind, he let himself be reviled and died by being meek, leaving himself in the Father’s Will, not by human reasoning; Was not a failure in the unjust trial of which he did not know how to defend himself. He was a slave for His greatness of Soul, to save a whole humanity and embrace it in a Love that we can reach one day, already begun in this world, and full in the new Life. It is not something we could understand or get by our blind understanding, we have needed the Light that illuminates everything with new hope. Man lives in darkness as he does not approach this Light that flows from the side opened by the spear. It is the mystery that must be contemplated until their secrets are revealed. We must insist, call, open our heart and wait.
Is not it a safe enough way to reach our fullness? If it is easy, it will not be for our merits, but for those of His Death. Let us love the Love that saves us and which has the power to give us to drink from His open side as medicine to get healthy in the bosom of the Father!
